Massachusetts College of Art and Design – DCAMM Energy Project

This Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) Energy project featured a complete Power Fit-Out for HVAC Units, a total retrofit of controls, and the replacement of all rooftop exhaust fans with an occupancy-based exhaust system for the student lab spaces at MassArt.  These upgrades allow for greater control and significant energy usage at the college which for almost 150 years has produced many generations of creative talent. In addition, the JM Electrical team utilized the company’s prefabrication capabilities, fully assembling two walls of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) with prewired power and controls that were hoisted onto the building’s roof. Our experience in prefabrication helped avoid delays, allowing other trades to continue work onsite while our team finished many aspects of the project at our facilities.
