In this month’s tED Magazine, JM Electrical’s Principal and CEO Matthew Guarracino was featured in their Contractor Q&A column! In the piece, Matthew discussed the current state of the electrical contracting labor market, and what JM Electrical is doing to support it.
Highlighting the company’s strong relationship with Local 103, Matthew shares insights on apprenticeship programs, and training initiatives, such as our work at the JME Innovation Center, which is helping JM Electrical meet market demands as the amount of work in Boston continues to grow. He also explains how the company’s Co-op program with local trade schools and universities, such as Wentworth Institute of Technology, provides hands-on experience for the next generation of electricians, which also includes the children of current JM Electrical employees.
