Just in time for the holidays, 37 students in Salem now have warm winter clothing to help them through the season, thanks to JM Electrical’s ongoing partnership with The Clothing Connection for the seventh consecutive year. This Salem nonprofit is dedicated to serving low-income students throughout the district.

This year’s effort was especially meaningful, with many donations going directly from our team’s hands to kids who needed them that very same day. In addition to providing monetary donations, our employees took a personal approach: each team member sponsored specific items, such as sneakers, sweatshirts, and sweatpants, shopping for the exact sizes and styles requested by the children themselves.

This is a tradition we’re proud to continue each year, one that reflects our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work. In a district where 60% of families face financial challenges, this grassroots effort puts kids’ real needs first, ensuring they can stay warm and focused on what matter most this season.
