Through this collaboration, we’re not only reducing our environmental impact but also contributing to the crucial shift toward widespread curbside composting. By diverting nutrient-rich food scraps from landfills into enriching soil in New England, we’re paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
In addition to our composting initiative, JM Electrical is also deeply involved in promoting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) through our specialized EV charging installation services. As greater Boston’s leading specialized electrical contractor with service offerings for the latest renewable energy technologies, we’re playing a vital role in building a cleaner, greener transportation infrastructure. By supporting the transition to EVs, we’re actively contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
With transportation accounting for about 42% of all greenhouse gas emissions in Massachusetts, achieving Boston’s net-zero emissions by 2050 goal requires a concerted effort. This push for reducing emissions is echoed in the proliferation of electric vehicles across Massachusetts. With nearly 69,000 zero-emission passenger vehicles and 153,000 hybrid passenger vehicles registered as of January 1, 2023, the state is heading in the direction of a more sustainable transportation landscape. JM electrical is poised to capitalize on this momentum by leveraging our expertise in EV charging installation.
