JM Advantage

With hundreds of years of collective industry experience, JM Electrical provides clients with a diverse range of superior, specialized services and an experienced team for every project. From installing building automation controls at the Millennium Tower, to the security systems that safeguard Logan International Airport, our advanced training, broad capabilities and expertise have made us one of the largest and most successful electrical contractors in New England.

JM Electrical boasts some of the most accomplished personnel in the industry. Our electricians hone their skills at the accredited NECA/IBEW joint training center— one of the most rigorous programs in the country—which prepares the next generation of electricians, from apprentices to journeyman to master electricians.

Each of our electricians also completes 10,000 hours of classroom and on-the-job training through the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC). In addition, our electricians receive ongoing education to help them master the latest technologies, safety protocols, and management strategies.

Our proprietary JM Training Center provides supplementary classroom instruction and hands-on experiences for our personnel.  We remain at the forefront of our industry by working closely with staff, clients and suppliers to integrate the newest tools and technologies into the systems we install.

Our knowledge, capabilities and expertise translate into cost-effective practices for every customer. JM Electrical consistently completes all projects on time and on budget.

We follow through on turnkey projects— from concept to completion— and manage fast-track jobs to meet even the most aggressive schedule.

At JM Electrical, we work closely with our clients at each stage of a job—including planning, design, installation, evaluation and project management— to ensure we meet their needs and exceed expectations.

At JM Electrical, we value our customers’ trust.  Our company maintains the highest level of confidentiality for every project.

For nearly 30 years, JM Electrical has been a proud and active member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Our participation in this national organization ensures that we stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends.  We take advantage of training programs that keep us current on rapidly evolving technologies and the issues that impact our market.  We proudly maintain our strong relationship with our labor union Local 103. Preserving these strong relationships has  been a key to our success over our more than 30 year history.  Paul Guarracino is a former president of the Boston chapter of NECA and Matthew Guarracino, Business Development Manager, serves on the Board of Directors and numerous leadership committees as well.

In addition to our longstanding partnership with NECA, JM Electrical is also affiliated with the Massachusetts Building Congress (MBC), an organization that connects experts in our field through professional development programs, networking events, and other activities. Matthew Guarracino currently serves as the President of the MBC’s 2018-2019 Officers & Directors.

We are also members of the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts, Inc. (ASM), the leading organization representing subcontractors and industry partners in Massachusetts. Through these industry organizations, the JM Electrical team remains up-to-date on the newest products, practices and industry trends.
