JM Electrical had the opportunity to make their mark on downtown Boston’s Washington St. by helping construct one of the city’s highly anticipated and most elite condominium complexes. The company provided the framework for constructing a holistic green building that would maximize sustainability benefits instead of using traditional building and construction designs. The 15- story LEED certified building would eventually consist of 256 residences, with one-, two- and three-bedrooms spaces, ranging between 775 to 2360 square feet 14 penthouses, a green roof, and more.
JM Electrical was selected to equip the facility with sophisticated and comprehensive air handling, ventilation, security and power control systems and other features to help shape a structure unlike any other in Boston. Incorporating these advanced control systems into the structure guarantees reliable delivery for power, heat, and water throughout the development while conserving energy and managing waste. To complete this project, the technicians at JM Electrical set a diligent schedule to ensure that a great development could be produced.
As a result of JM Electrical’s work, the project was completed on time and on budget all while meeting the goal of creating a luxury living facility that reduced energy use. The team ensured that every building system worked together as a collective unit to provide a superior experience for the building’s residents, tenants, and visitors.
