Success Stories

Liberty Hotel

JM Electrical was hired to update the historic Charles Street Jail’s energy management systems while it was being restored as the 4-star luxury Liberty Hotel that it is today. Although working in historic buildings can present unique challenges, JM Electrical welcomed them and provided the 1864 structure with a brand new HVAC system designed to maintain a desired working and living environment, while ensuring a reliable and efficient delivery of power. The result saved energy, lowered costs and provided cutting edge control systems for the newly outfitted building.

Merck Pharmaceuticals Boston Research Center

Pharmaceutical giant Merck was pleased with the advanced control jobs we completed for their Boston Research Center. JM Electrical installed the building automation system, fume hood control system, card access and security systems.

Boston Convention Center

JM Electrical was hired for automation control work on the 1.7 million square foot Boston Convention Center. We completed large-scale building automation system work, heating, cooling, lighting, and window shade control, as well as process control of the heating and cooling plant. The systems we provided supply the correct amount of heated or cooled air to certain areas in the convention center to keep energy usage levels stable. This is one of the most technologically advanced and sophisticated convention centers in the country in part because of the updated energy management systems provided by JM Electrical.
